Are you a foreign national who wants to get married in Romania? You must know there are aditional formalities to be fulfilled by foreign nationals who are being married by a Romanian official.
Among the necessary documents - a special declaration given by the future spouses that there are no impediments against the marriage, neither according to the Romanian law nor according to the law of the foreign national’s home state, and that both spouses fulfil the requirements of the two citizenship laws for the marriage to be performed.
